MFin Individual Career Advising

Everyone’s career experience and job search journey is unique. If you are seeking individual career advising support, schedule either a 15-minute or 30-minute appointment with your Career Advisor in Career Central based on your questions and needs. Click here for instructions on how to schedule a career advising appointment in Career Central.

Career topics often discussed during Individual Career Advising appointments include, but are not limited to:

  • Career exploration
  • Networking interactions
  • Job search strategies
  • Feedback and advice on current recruiting processes
  • Troubleshooting if you are feeling overwhelmed, lost or in a sticky situation
  • Discuss interview preparation strategies and resources (but not intended for mock interviews!)

Individual Career Advising Appointments are not a chance for a resume review, cover letter review, or behavioral mock interview. However, the CDO does offer such support; just be sure to follow the appropriate instructions to receive a Resume Review, Cover Letter Review, or conduct a Behavioral Mock Interview.

These advising appointments are exclusive to MFin students.
