2020-2021 MBA Employment Report

We are pleased to share the 2020-2021 MBA Employment Report, with full-time data for the Class of 2020 and internship data for the Class of 2021.

The MBA Class of 2020 performed well in a challenging market, with 95.5% receiving offers within three months of graduation. Top industries for 2020 were Consulting (31.1%), Tech (27.6%), and Finance (18.5%).

Growth potential was the top reason (43.6%) graduates accepted their position.

Full-Time Salary Highlights:

  • Average base salary increased  to $144,140
  • Median base salary increased to $150,000

Employer Highlights:

  • 300 employers
  • 47% of job-seeking graduates accepted positions with employers who hired three or more Sloanies
  • 52% of organizations hired Sloanies for the first time in 2020
