MFin Individual Career Advising

 Meet with a career advisor on a quick topic or document review of your choice. We recommend selecting this appointment, which is 15 minutes in length, for private career conversations and to discuss unique situations. For broader career conversations, we recommend booking an MFin Small Group Career Advising appointment, as students often benefit from hearing others’ career questions.

Career topics often discussed during Individual Career Advising appointments include, but are not limited to:

  • Career exploration
  • Networking interactions
  • Job search strategies
  • Feedback and advice on current recruiting processes
  • Troubleshooting if you are feeling overwhelmed, lost or in a sticky situation
  • Discuss interview preparation strategies and resources (but not intended for mock interviews!)
  • Document review (resume or cover letter) – please note that we offer additional support for Resume Reviews, Cover Letter Reviews.

These advising appointments are exclusive to MFin students.
