How many times have you heard that “failure is not an option”? Yet, a misstep can happen at any time and to everyone, even professionals, experts, CEO’s, or professors. For this reason, we bring them on stage to FAIL!, an event aimed at understanding the deeper meaning of failures and vulnerabilities, and how to accept, understand, and conquer them.

 

On October 21st at 5:30 pm, we will have brilliant guests from both academic and entrepreneurship environments. MIT President L. Rafael Reif, current MIT president since 2012 that has led the universities efforts of advancing higher education.
Chris Bourg, director of MIT libraries and overseer of MIT Press. She is an advocated for the role of libraries in promoting social justice and democracy.
Kip Hollister, Founder and CEO of The Hollister Group – a women-owned staffing consultancy firm. She deeply cares about well-being and vulnerability.
Bill Walczak, Chair, Boards of Bunker Hill Community College, community organizer and Boston mayor candidate in 2013.… and more to be announced!

 

The event will be hosted by Kirsty Bennett, manager of the MIT Women’s League, and is organized by the FAIL! Organizing Team together with MIT Women’s league We also thank the Graduate Student Council and MIT VISTA for collaboration and help!
