I wanted to send a quick note with an important update to Bain’s interview process: We will be implementing a mandatory digital assessment for all MBA hiring this year (the full-time and summer associate roles).
Here are some more details about the process and assessment itself:
- All applicants will receive a separate email with a personalized link once they submit their Bain application.
- The assessment must be completed within the time specified.
- The assessment will take approximately ~40-60 minutes to complete.
- Bain’s use of digital assessments measure skills related to the consultant role, including the ability to process information and solve problems, as well as understand different working styles.
- The digital assessment will be considered as one part of the application review process, in addition to all other parts of an application.
- There is no study or practice required in advance.
Our OCRs will be informing candidates about this change and will be there to field any questions. There will also be some instructions coming, centrally, as people submit their applications.
