The MIT Sloan Healthcare & BioInnovations Conference is a student-led, annual event that brings together industry, academic, investment, and policy leaders to discuss key trends, challenges, and opportunities in the healthcare industry. The 2025 conference theme, “From Innovation to Impact: The Changing Face of Healthcare,” explores groundbreaking developments across the healthcare landscape.

• This sector continues to grow steadily, particularly in biotech, digital health, and AI-driven healthcare solutions. 
  
• Both established pharmaceutical firms and high-growth startups are actively hiring. Recent examples of hiring organizations include Moderna, Pfizer, Novartis, Biogen, Sanofi, Ginkgo Bioworks, ElevateBio, Editas Medicine, & Generate:Biomedicines.  
  
• There is a growing demand for MBAs in roles at companies like Whoop, Labviva, Teladoc Health, Clasp Therapeutics, Regeneron, Hologic, Eleos Health, and Athenahealth.
