COMPANY OUTREACH

We have reached out to our top 40 employers for an update on their hiring, and have entered notes from these conversations in Career Central.

Employers are honoring their commitments for full-time roles and internships, with a few exceptions in areas such as travel & hospitality.


SHARING MIT SLOAN RESUME DATABASES WITH EMPLOYERS

On March 24, we sent our Resume Databases to 2,300 employer contacts from our database. These employers have free access to the active resumes of MBA, LGO, MSMS, MFin, MBAn, SFMBA, and EMBA students.  If you are an two-year MBA or MFin and have accepted an offer, please update your status in the Employment Survey so we have the most up-to-date list of job seekers, and are only sharing the resumes of those in a job search.


GENERATING OPPORTUNITIES FROM THE MIT SLOAN COMMUNITY AND BEYOND

We have engaged with 2020 & 2021 EMBAs to identify opportunities with their current employers, and we will regularly share those jobs with you. We will also push out a message to the larger EMBA alumni community in collaboration with the Office of External Relations, to identify opportunities at companies where our alumni are working.


SCHEDULING VIRTUAL CAREER CHATS AND COFFEE CHATS

We are excited about the companies participating in the April 2 Virtual Career Chats, and will continue to organize opportunities to engage with employers remotely throughout the semester.

ACTIVELY SOLICITING JOB POSTINGS FROM OUR EMPLOYERS 

We are actively receiving new inbound job opportunities, with 207 roles received since February 1st and 78 roles received since March 1st.  In our March 24 outreach to 2,300 employer contacts, we reminded them of the value of MIT Sloan candidates, particularly at a time when solving complex problems is key, and encouraged them to post their jobs.
