Role Overview
As an MBA Summer Associate on the investment team, you’ll directly support our investment process, working closely to source and evaluate new opportunities. You’ll gain hands-on experience in sourcing, evaluating, and executing investments, and collaborate on strategic projects that influence our portfolio and firm.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deal Sourcing and Evaluation:
- Conduct market research and identify promising investment opportunities.
- Speak with founders and executive teams, developing a viewpoint on a company and its future.
- Perform marker and financial analysis, due diligence, and valuation modeling.
- Investment Execution:
- Prepare investment memos, presentations, and support documentation.
- Participate actively in investment committee discussions and decision-making processes.
- Portfolio Support:
- Assist with strategic projects for current portfolio companies, helping drive growth initiatives.
- Support ongoing analysis of market trends and industry developments.
- Networking and Collaboration:
- Engage with founders, entrepreneurs, and industry leaders to build relationships and expand deal flow.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and external partners to find the most promising opportunities.
Qualifications
Required Experience & Skills
- Currently pursuing an MBA from a top-tier business school with strong academic performance.
- Previous experience in venture capital, private equity, investment banking, management consulting, or a high-growth startup.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Finance, or Economics.
