Help us get to $1B+ in revenue, reporting to our CEO. Do this job leveraging AI, scale this department, and help lead our company!
Full Job Description
About Our Company, Product Genius
Have you ever wanted to start an AI company and scale it to business in revenue? Come do that with us!
ProductGenius.ai is an exciting high-growth Seed stage startup rapidly growing our revenue and on track to raise a significant Series A this year. Our customers are growth businesses, primarily in North America. They love our product because we significantly increase their online sales by 20% to over 200%! We do this by automatically transforming their old website into an AI-powered TikTok-like individualized, dynamic experience. It’s the “tik-tokification of e-commerce.”
We have a highly digital and automated go-to-market motion that provides a continuous flow of prospective customers. We are applying AI as fast as we can to deliver to the expanding volume of new trial customers. That is where your first major project comes in! You will help lead the effort to scale the post-signup success of our customers.
About the Role
- After scaling the success of our customers using our product, you can define your next role within the company.
- We’re looking for a brilliant, energizing, and get-it-done-details person to join our team.
- You will own the day-to-day coordination of making our customers successful as they onboard onto our product and use it through their free trial and into the subscription period. You will help us find ways to automate and tune this (mostly) self-service onboarding, and you’ll act as a key link between customers and our product team.
- You will have lots of ideas for new features and improvements, and you will collaborate on careful prioritization directly with our CEO / Head of Product.
Orientation
- You are super up-beat for taking groups of people through a journey, for example maybe you led groups tours on white water river rafting expeditions to pay your way through college.
- You play with new software for fun in your free time and you enjoy it! You therefore have some experience with different apps, for example, canva, figma, chatgpt, claude.ai, deepseek, dall-e, n8n, etc., etc.
- Maybe recently, just to try it, you did some LLM vibe coding and made something kinda cool!
Initial Core Responsibilities
- Own how our company provides our product to our customers.
- Identify friction points in our automated onboarding flows, and collaborate with our product team to remove friction points. With help, overcome the friction points until they can be automated away.
- Follow up with customers 1:1, lead webinars, write case study newsletters, and make sure we solve any barriers that our customers encounter along the way —- you will think of many ways to advance our prospects and customers as their revenue lift becomes evident.
- For enterprise customers, solve problems before they are problems. Create and manage delivery timelines. Write it all up so this can ultimately become its own department.
- Keep everyone in the loop — customers, the engineering team, and your peers on the leadership team.
Skills
- You are able to listen to customer/community feedback, make people feel heard, and summarize it accurately for our team (with help from AI).
- You write very well, and lean into it (with help from AI).
- Perhaps you have an active social media presence or blog of your own, positive and carefully curated.
- You have a highly detailed and artistic eye for an app or website looking good.
- You’re comfortable jumping into software systems and figuring them out. You have experience with automation and management tools.
Previous Experience
- Undergraduate degree, MBA, plus 5-10 years of work experience.
- You may have been a product manager for a B2C app. (If you haven’t you are about to gain a lot of that experience!)
- You may have worked at an agency building/optimizing websites for clients the old fashioned way, without AI.
- You may have been a designer or front-end developer at some point. You understand how websites and browsers work, and technical issues that can arise. You have experience with CSS, HTML, or JavaScript.
- You may have worked at McKinsey or another consulting firm where you delivered on client projects.
Remote Position With Frequent Company Get-Togethers
- Our team is based primarily in Boston, MA.
- We are available 9am – 5pm EST.
- We work remote, generally from a time zone that is +/- 2 hours from EST.
- We get together every 4-6 weeks for a 1-2 day company onsite
