A pioneer in Payment Facilitation/PayFac, Marlena Hubley is a seasoned product management professional in payments, fintech, and banking who is widely regarded as a disbursement payouts expert with a tremendous background in risk and compliance. Demonstrated strength in ideation, product strategy, client relations, agile software development, and organizational change management, resulting in the successful execution of large-scale programs, productivity enhancements, and operational effectiveness improvements. Marlena forges strong alliances: she excels at team building and mentoring and fosters high-performing teams based on trust and common goals. Most recently, Marlena planned product strategy, features, and development within user, business, regulatory, and technical contexts for payments offering at a financial operations platform, Maxio LLC, that is designed for seed or investor funded B2B SaaS companies. At FIS, Marlena worked on the Embedded Finance team; her team embedded and mass deployed Autobooks’ modules into FIS’ banking distribution channel so that community and small-sized banking institutions could offer integrated payment acceptance, professional invoicing, cash flow management & accounting features as part of their white-labeled FIS® Digital One™ Business and Flex platforms. Previously, Marlena worked in merchant acquiring, aka for a payments processor + payment gateway (both front-end and back-end), developing solutions for card-not-present merchant acceptance in the aggregator space. Since joining the nascent Worldpay PayFac ™ team in 2013, Marlena built and enhanced a technology stack with unique features such as real-time, frictionless Merchant Provisioning, and a flexible Payout Engine to disburse funds in a fast and compliant manner. She enhanced Dynamic Payout to leverage FastAccess funding push-to-card-disbursements in the U.S. market and launched Worldpay’s PayFac business in Canada. Prior to this role, Marlena successfully innovated and launched new products for 85 Broads LLC, now Ellevate Network. Marlena earned an MBA from MIT Sloan School of Business and a Summa Cum Laude B.A. from Mount Holyoke College.
