Student Clubs

The Hispanic Business Club (HBC) is a student-led group at MIT’s Sloan School of Management that serves as a professional resource and peer network for MIT’s Latinx (domestic Latinos) community and allies. Representing a wide range of backgrounds, experiences, interests, and Latinx heritage, HBC members spearhead initiatives related to MBA admissions, alumni networking, career development, and more to advocate for and empower the Latinx community both on and off-campus.

Our #1 mission is to foster an inclusive and collaborative community for Latinx individuals and allies at MIT Sloan.

Please reach out to our Hispanic Business Club officers at hbc.officers@sloangroups.mit.edu with any questions.

One of our organization’s objectives is to create a welcoming community among underrepresented Latinx minorities (domestic Latinos) and allies. Any member of the MIT Sloan community is eligible to become a member of this club. One is considered a member of this club in any given academic term if they have paid monetary dues in the amount of $20 and attended at least one club activity or one meeting in the preceding or current term.

Members will receive the following benefits:
a. Members are included on the club listserv.
b. Members are eligible to participate in club leadership.
c. Members are eligible to attend club events.
d. Members receive a free HBC sweatshirt and graduation stole.
