The mission of the Sloan Veterans Club is threefold. First, the SVC exists to enable and assist U.S. and allied nation Veterans in the transition from honorable military service to fulfilling, impactful, and rewarding civilian careers. Second, the SVC catalyzes the development and success of those individuals who continue serving both in the U.S. and allied nation militaries. Third, the SVC strives to generate awareness and support for the military within the Sloan, greater MIT, and Cambridge communities.
1.) Emotional, psychological, and physical support from like-minded Veterans undergoing the transition process in order to help our community be as successful as possible in their personal and professional endeavors.
2.) Access to exclusive networking and job opportunities along with assistance during the job hunt.
3.) Unlimited entry to the SVC room beneath the Muddy Charles.
4.) Ability to connect with and learn from Veterans.
