Ways Alumni Can Engage With and Support MIT Sloan Students

1) POST A JOB OR INTERNSHIP

Post a Job – Full-time, Internship, and Experienced Hire

Does your company have jobs or internships? Share your job with Sloanies – post a job for free through the CDO.

Companies need candidates who can solve complex problems and leverage deep finance knowledge and analytical skills. MIT Sloan’s portfolio of programs offers the range of expertise and experience companies need, from early- to mid-career and experienced hires, across our MBA, LGO, MFin, MBAn, MSMS, SFMBA, and EMBA programs, as well as alumni.

2) SHARE YOUR EXPERTISE

Share Your Knowledge and Experience on MIT Alumni Advisors Hub

Volunteer on MIT Alumni Advisors Hub to support students navigating their job and internship searches. You can offer to give feedback on resumes, help students prepare for interviews, or share career advice and insights.

MIT Sloan Industry Advisors

Share your industry insights, network with the newest Sloanies, and provide career direction to students and alumni through 1:1 mentorship.

3) SCHEDULE AN ONLINE RECRUITING EVENT AT MIT SLOAN

The CDO coordinates recruiting events for companies that have opportunities they want to share with Sloanies. To participate, email the Employer Relations & Recruiting Team at cdo.mitsloan@mit.edu.

4) TELL YOUR STORY

Share Your Career Story on Your CDO’s Alumni Blogs

Have you overcome obstacles, navigated unexpected career shifts, and identified opportunities in uncertain times and want to inspire other Sloanies to success? Email MITSloanCareerStories@mit.edu to share your story.

5) PARTICIPATE AS SPEAKERS, PANELISTS, AND ATTENDEES

Many centers across MIT and MIT Sloan – as well as MIT Sloan student clubs and alumni clubs – are hosting online events to keep the community connected and informed about the job market. We encourage you to participate and keep in touch with the MIT Sloan community, including your local alumni club.

6) HOST AN ACTION LEARNING TEAM

Action Learning teams deliver results that host companies use to fix problems and prepare their businesses for future challenges.
Project areas: Health, Sustainability, Analytics, Finance, Entrepreneurship, Operations, or Management.
