Recruiters will host virtual office hours on select Thursdays this fall to address questions from candidates about our available roles and the application process. All sessions can be accessed via the same link: https://chime.aws/MBA_Recruiter_Office_Hours. Registration is not required, as students can simply drop in to engage with our team.

FAQs

  • What are the basic qualifications for these roles?
    • Internship candidates must have graduation dates between December 1, 2026 and June 30, 2027.
    • Candidates are advised to review the listed preferred qualifications for each role to ensure they can clearly demonstrate their eligibility through their prior work experience.
  • After I have applied, when will I receive a status update?
    • We are not able to estimate a time frame for the application review process. The best place to find the current status of an application will be the amazon.jobs portal. Unless a candidate sees “no longer under consideration” they can be assured that their application is in review.
  • Where are these roles located?
    • Amazon company headquarters are located in Seattle, WA and Arlington, VA and the majority of our corporate roles are aligned in these locations.
    • As part of the application, candidates will have the opportunity to submit location preferences, but please note that we are unable to guarantee location preferences as placement is based on business needs at the time of offer extension.
    • Pathways interns would be assigned to a site in our operations network which have an approved internship project for summer 2026.
  • Are internships virtual or in-person?
    • All Amazon employees are expected to be in-person five days a week.

  • Amazon Leadership Accelerator (ALA) Product Manager Intern: ALA is Amazon’s selective MBA leadership development program, providing a multi-year pathway for future leaders. This program serves as a primary entry point for MBA graduates seeking product management roles at Amazon. As an intern, you’ll have the opportunity to work shoulder-to-shoulder with senior leaders who’ve built billion-dollar businesses, tackling challenges that stretch beyond your comfort zone while receiving the mentorship to help you succeed. During the 12-week internship, you will focus on delivering meaningful impact through a project with clear customer benefits and business outcomes, while gaining exposure to core product management responsibilities. Exceptional performers will have the opportunity to join full-time upon MBA graduation.
  • Amazon MBA Leadership Development Program (MLDP) – Sr. Vendor Manager Intern: VM’s at Amazon are responsible for monitoring and reacting to industry trends and own the top and bottom lines of the P&L. They will develop selection and categories, deliver innovative growth solutions and work with internal teams to deliver the best customer experience. VMs work with vendors of all sizes – and possess leadership presence and communication skills to represent Amazon at all levels. VMs work across multiple internal teams, at high levels of leadership, to address customer experience issues within the category. We span a wide range of specialist skills, from data analytics and account management to brand development and ad sales. You’ll be working with some of the smartest minds in e-commerce.
  • Finance Leadership Development Program (FLDP):FLDP interns drive innovative financial strategies across a variety of Amazon businesses. This may include managing financial statements for a product or business area, controllership of financials, and investigating anomalies – all of which inform strategic roadmaps and drive high level business decisions. In order to deliver these outcomes, interns often must extract data from Amazon systems, conduct advanced statistical analysis, evaluate key performance indicators, and consult on ways to increase financial performance. Throughout the summer interns will have exposure to senior level management, and the internship will culminate in a presentation of deliverables to the team.
  • Pathways Operations Leadership Development Program Intern: As a Pathways Operations Manager Intern, candidates will work in one of Amazon’s best-in-class operations facilities where they will engage in site-specific projects, analyze operational challenges, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that directly enhance customer experiences. Interns will receive mentorship in Amazon’s culture of ownership and innovation from site leadership teams, while leading real process improvements. Working alongside experienced operations leaders, interns will learn how a successful Amazon site operates and how their solutions can make an immediate impact. Candidates eligible for an internship offer are matched to a US site in the operations network which has been specifically selected based on the opportunities to learn and contribute.
  • MBA Program Management (PGM) Intern: PGMs at Amazon act as internal consultants, designing and launching process and product improvements for diverse sets of business challenges. PGMs work to find solutions to complex problems within operations, supply chain, demand planning, logistics and innovate on leading edge solutions to manage programs broadly across businesses within Amazon. PGMs are given responsibility on their first day to own those business challenges and the autonomy to think strategically and make data driven decisions They drive efforts independently and as part of larger project teams, and have a significant impact on the customer experience and the business. PGMs are placed across lines of business at Amazon and work cross functionally. Examples of organizations where PGMs may work include: Amazon Web Services (AWS), Supply Chain, Procurement, Operations, Devices, Prime Video, Global Delivery, Consumer, and more.
  • MBA Marketing Manager (MM) Intern: MMs at Amazon drive general marketing, product marketing or functional marketing initiatives for organizations including (but not limited to): Amazon Music, Prime Video, Alexa Devices, Kindle, Amazon Web Services (AWS), North America Consumer (such as Retail Systems, Customer and Brand Protection, Marketplace Sales, International Retail, Hardlines, and Softlines) and Prime. They work cross-functionally to develop marketing plans, define success metrics, manage strategic projects, and own business outcomes. MMs ultimately become marketing leaders responsible for large business segments and organizations.
