The Investment Banking Club supports, assists and prepares candidates in the recruiting process for IB related careers. The Investment Banking process is extremely demanding and high touch. Recent history shows that the IB Club has been key in the recruiting success of Sloanies. Main reasons being the tools, guidance and access to opportunities the club provides.
Industry and Bank Specific Overviews
Information sessions to provide a baseline knowledge of the investment banking industry. Additional information sessions provide the differences between different IB verticals and products, and the differences in working at bulge bracket and boutique investment banks.
Interview Preparation
We will have a series of comprehensive behavioral and technical training sessions before interviews start, to ensure members are well prepared when the time comes. We will also support members with organized mock interviews with the IB Club leadership and 2nd year Sloanies in the club.
Weekly Club Meetings
Weekly IB Club meetings provide students with overviews of the process and status updates on recruitment.
Club Specific Events with Banks
Sessions organized directly with the Investment Banking Club to network and give overviews of their banks. Sessions have included industry walkthroughs, mock interviews, and company presentations.
